DIY Sockrabbit

General Details:
Age: 6 – 12
Duration: 30 minutes
Suitable for: birthday, class party, free time.

Materials :

A sock
A 15*15 piece of cloth (can be taken from an unused garment)
A fabric ribbon
Two buttons (or plastic doll eyes)
Three small pompons
Cotton wool (one pack)
Plastic glue


Instructions:

  • Fill about two thirds of the sock with cotton wool.

  • Tie a fabric ribbon at the end of the filling, tie another ribbon about two-thirds of the bottom of the sock.

  • Cut an oval from the fabric and glue it to the bottom of the rabbit (see picture).

  • Stick two buttons for the eyes, a pompon in the nose area and two more under the nose.

  • Cut the top of the sock in the middle to create ears.
